Then, around 1:30 yesterday morning, 16 January, the windchill reached -42C! Friday, 17 January 2020: our temperature at 11:30 am is -24C (windchill -36C). It may well have been a degree or two colder, earlier. Sunrise is at 8:31 am, sunset at 5:01 pm. We were in a brutal, dangerous deep freeze last weekend and it is continuing all this week.
