About sleeping bag and pattern

A simply cosy sleeping bag for the littlest ones, that can keep them warm in the pram and in bed. It has buttons on the shoulders and press studs by the feet. The press studs facilitate easy changing without removing the sleeping bag entirely.

It is worked from the bottom up. The sleeping bag is shaped with some simple increases and decreases, with a folded edge so the press studs can be firmly fastened. Further on, decreases are made to shape the top. Stitches are then cast off at the sides and the front and back are worked separately with more decreases.

Afterwards, stitches are picked up around the top edge to add i-cord. To finish, the buttons and press studs are added. You can also make holes for belts after the sleeping bag is finished.
