Pearl Harbor Memorial Square in Union Center was adopted December 7, 1999. The "Day of Infamy" 58 years earlier when 360 Japanese planes descended on Americans at Pearl Harbor killing 2400 and wounding 1200, leaving local survivors John Adams, Edward Gosdoski, Thomas F. Mahoney, and Herman Zuckerman.
