These double ferrule tube fittings have been designed specifically for the many demanding applications such as chemical, petroleum, power generating, pulp, paper and various types of manufacturing industries. Connection: Tube union for connecting fractional tube -this is a 90 degree reducing union elbow - with one end larger then the other to create a reducing connection. Maximum Operating Pressure: 11,000 psi (757 bar) @ 100°F (38°C) Operating Temperature Range: 325°F (-198°C) to 1200°F (648°C) Size: OD 1/16 - 2 inch, OD 2mm - 38mm Ferrule: Double Ferrule Pipe End Pressure Ratings: Many tube fittings have a male or female pipe end. These ends sometimes have a lower pressure rating than the pressure rating of the tube fitting end. The ratings shown above are based on ASME B31.3-1999. Female pipe ends have lower ratings than male pipe end in a given size due to the inner and outer diameters of the female threads being larger than those of the male pipe ends.
