We present to you the essential classics of wooden toys! 12 animals that swim, fly, hop, and roar with ancientness! All handmade from natural wood. All the wood is natural ash, hickory, maple, red oak, walnut, and white oak. The sizes vary and are listed in the last image. Note that the image showing the animals in profile does not show the animals in scale to one another (refer to the size chart for this). As with all our toys, we've sanded the wood and all the edges edges of these toys smooth so it will be delicate in the hands of your little one. These toys are made to order and ship in two or three days. These toys are intended for children over 3. They are not a teether, but is safe if toddlers take a taste test. These toys are finished with a natural and non-toxic beeswax polish we make ourselves and leaves this wood toy with a smooth finish. All colors you see are natural - we use no stains, dyes, or paint. A note about green poplar (crocodile and frog): The wood is not green in terms of seasoning, but rather in color. The color is natural and will eventually oxidize to a brown color. Exposure to sunlight will accelerate this. How long will it take? It could be six months, it could be a decade. We can't say for certain as this is a natural product and depends on how much time it spends in direct sunlight.
