Weeping Willow trees have a classic, rounded shape and long, thin branches that droop to the ground. The ground-sweeping branches are full of long, narrow leaves with silver tinted undersides that turn yellow in the fall and eventually drop. It reaches a mature height of 30 ft. - 50 ft. and a width of 30 ft. - 50 ft. It has a fast-growing nature, growing upwards of 6 ft. per-year in optimal conditions. They make a popular nesting site for birds and their branches are ideal food for rabbits and deer. This tree is hardy in USDA Zones 4-10. Plant it in full sun to part shade. It is tolerant of most soil types, including clay. Water 2-3 times per-week until established. Weeping Willows have a wide habit. Space them 20 ft. - 25 ft. apart to allow the trees weeping habit to shine.
