Description

🍂 Discover Coconut Shells at Betta Botanicals. Our Coconut Huts make perfect caves for the fish in your botanical aquariums, blackwater aquariums, or bioactive reptile/amphibian enclosures. These are grown Organically in Sri Lanka. Build Your Ecosystem!
Product Description: Coconut shells for aquariums and bioactive enclosures are a tried and true staple in the hobby. Ours are a little different, grown Organically in Sri Lanka for your critters to hide under or consume. We have noticed the recruitment of biofilms to these shells mimics that of our Jungle Pods (sterculia foetida) and is quickly consumed by any shrimp or snails present in the aquarium. Our domestic and wild bettas love these coconut shells, and our Apistogramma has been seen utilizing them as well. Not quite as exotic of a botanical as some of our other offers, the coconut shell does the job well of providing a cave for fish. Not for Human Consumption. Preparation Required. Betta Botanicals' products are not just about building ecosystems – they're committed to sustainability. Packaged in bags made of renewable sugarcane, these materials are biodegradable and compostable, reducing environmental impact. Moreover, Betta Botanicals is proud to run on solar energy, taking a step towards a greener future for both your ecosystems and the planet. Quantities: 1 coconut hut in 1/2 shell form. 5-7 across shells. This is a natural product, and variation between leaves and botanicals is expected. Aquarium Botanical Location: Sri Lanka.
