The unpredictability of world events, coupled with ever-increasing humanitarian needs, calls for stronger humanitarian action. The Conference will provide a platform for dialogue among the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and States party to the Geneva Conventions to decide what needs to be done to strengthen the impact of humanitarian responses to new, ongoing and future crises. The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is now embarking on its cycle of preparation for the 34th International Conference.
