Lulu White: The Black Owner of New Orleans's Most Notorious Brothel, Mahogany Hall

Lulu White was the only black person to own a brothel in Storyville, New Orleans. Her brothel, Mahogany House, was the most successful in the city, and quickly became a hub for the vibrant jazz scene in the city, making White a successful self-made millionaire.
