The Pearl SensiTone Premium Maple Snare Drum has a 6 ply, 5.4mm shell that has a dark, warm tone that is slightly dry. This shell is able to sustain its tone thanks to ARL tube lug design, which have minimal contact with the shell. The Pearl SuperHoop II Hoops also give the shell a little extra room to breathe. It also comes equipped with a Gladstone-Style Throw Off that is durable and highly adjustable.
