There is currently no cure for postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). These medications are prescribed off-label; meaning that they were designed for other disorders but have not been approved for POTS by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. They may, however, help alleviate POTS symptoms and often require trial and error to find the best combination for individual patients.
