* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and straight skirt

* Sleeveless halter neck bodice with upturned pointed collar

* Bodice has shelf bust with gathers

* Button accents down centre front

* Straight skirt wit two darts on each side for figure hugging fit

* Skirt has slit at front hemline

* Plastic zipper at back

Condition

This is a truly beautiful ad very well made dress, that is very close to the original as worn by Marilyn. I had it commissioned for a Marilyn Monroe exhibition I curated around ten years ago. Obviously, as these are one- off pieces, the fit may not be quite what you need. To this end, we also offer an alteration service by professional seamstresses. Please shoot us an email outlining what you want and we will quickly respond with a quote and timeframe. Costs are kept to a minimum for this service.
