Making it very useful for those who are on the path to attaining enlightened. Contrary to popular belief, bodhi seeds are from a tree related to the Rudraksha, called the Elaeocarpus Ganitrus, and not the actual Bodhi tree. The bodhi tree produces small seeds which are inside a tiny fig. These seeds are too small to be used for making malas.
