18th Century Basic Pockets Tied At Waist Lady's Historical Undergarments and Accessories
Who says women cant have decent pockets, well the Georgians had the right idea with there under skirt pockets which although at the time would have been used to store hankies, money and small items doesn't stop us from using them to put are phones in when we are out and about in costume.
Two pockets come with this listing one to go on each hip, each with there own cotton tape ribbon to wrap and tie in to place around the waist. We use a 100% Linen available in several colours which is bound with a brown cotton bias binding to finish the edges an stop the fabric from fraying.
The slit at the front of the pocket allows or easy and quick access.
Measurements of the pockets
36cm by 24cm wide
These fit most sizes from small to medium but for larger hand sizes message and we can make the slit a little large for you.
