Pucci started working with this company in the late 1950s. He set the stage for lighter weight undergarments in America. The first print that Pucci created for Formfit was in 1966, and each was signed with EPFR (Emilio Pucci Formfit Rogers). Nylon tricot fabric was used and printed in Italy. For the first time, women could wear bras without underwire or padding. One of the advertisements read Don't be trapped in a no-go body when you're feeling in a go-go mood. The partnership ended in 1979. The pieces can still be bought on the vintage market and are as vibrant in colour as when they were first made.LABEL: Emilio Pucci Formfit RogersBra Label: Emilio Pucci for Formfit Rogers. 36B Nylon Lycra Spandex. COLOR: Brown, pink, light brown. MATERIAL: Nylon tricot, spandex. Metal loops on bra. CONDITION:Slip: Excellent. A few loose threads and the tops of the side seams need re-stitching. Bra: The elastic is breaking down around the underbust, but no holes. The elastic around the inside bra top is slightly discoloured in places, not visible when worn. Panties: 1/2 inch small run on front, just above gusset. Slight abrasion mark next to that. No other marks, stains or tears. All three pieces are laundered and clean.
