A classic dress with the tools for a perfect fit. Simplicity 1537 sewing pattern was released in 2013. AA is for misses sizes 10, 12, 14, 16, and 18. BB is for women's sizes 20W, 22W, 24W, 26W, and 28W. Suggested fabrics are laundered cottons, lightweight pique and sateen, lightweight wool and wool blends, challis, crepe, laundered silks-rayons, silk linen, double georgette, brocade, shantung, matte jerseys, soft lightweight linen and linen blends. This listing is for the pattern, only. This pattern was purchased NEW and is UNCUT, with original factory folds. The paper envelope has small wrinkles, may be torn, or have obvious signs of shelf wear, as most of my patterns come from retail stores. The pattern envelope in the photo may not be the pattern envelope you receive, as I generally stock multiple copies, and restock patterns as they sell, without posting new photographs. Major pattern maker sizing is different from U.S. retail ready-to-wear sizing, especially in misses and women's clothing. Use your actual measurements to determine to correct size to purchase. Most pattern manufacturers have help lines, which you can call for assistance with sizing, questions about the instructions, and specific information about the garment details. I do not represent the pattern makers in any way, and (unfortunately) have not sewn these patterns myself.
