This is a mid Victorian era ornate brass tipping tea kettle or spirit kettle with stand made by William Soutter & Sons Co, Birmingham UK, 1870-1890s. The kettle in the stand measures 12 inches high and the heavily floral embossed kettle is 9 inches long by 6 inches wide. The kettle has a cute little hooked spout and beaded edge trimming with a bakelite or finial. The kettle is in original used antique condition, I wouldn't dare remove the original patina!
