Question] Is it a bad idea to get a bra from Understance when

Sizing - does this appear to be about 1 size too big + alterations to take in?? Sample (pictured) was 8, I think I need 6. Store won't give me measurements to decide they recommended 4 which arrived way too tight in thighs. They won't investigate the cause
