The Aviator Pants are knit pants designed for fall and winter. These do not have a button or zipper so they are super comfy and easy to take on and off. While they do have a knit waist yoga style waist band, they also include an option for elastic to make sure those pants stay up and in place. Heading into summer or living in a more temperate climate? Make the Aviator Shorts of course! Suggested Fabrics:Main: Sweatshirt fabric, Polar Fleece, heavier knits with spandex or lycra (10oz or higher), athletic knits/work out wear fabrics.*your main fabrics should have a bit of stretch, but they do not need a ton, 25-30% is fine.Waist Band: Knit fabrics with 60% stretch or more (the better recovery the better the waistband will work - lycra and spandex content are highly recommended). If you choose a fabric with >60% stretch but poor recovery, you will need to use elastic in the waistband. ***This is a PDF Pattern.
