Red dots in the UV layout - Modeling - Blender Artists Community

Hello, i have mysterious red dots appearing on my unwrapped UV layout. Those are no seams or whatever. On the mesh there is nothing like red dots to be found. Cleared seams and sharps over and over again. In the 3d editor and the uv editor. WHat are those 6 red dots on my UV layout? i started the modeling with a nurbs circle.
