<p>Mrs. Keta Renee Houck Roberts, age 61, of West Jefferson passed away Tuesday morning, December 5, 2023 at her home.</p><p><br></p><p>Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 12pm at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Elledge officiating. Burial will follow in the Rich Hill Farm Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will receive friends from 10:00-12:00pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023; two hours prior to the funeral service.</p><p><br></p><p>Keta was born in Ashe County on April 19, 1962 to the late Dwight Hoover and Dicia Katherine Stevens Houck. She was a member of Bald Mountain Baptist Church. Keta was big on fashion and had her own store “Threads”. She enjoyed binge watching movies and taking family trips to the beach.</p><p><br></p><p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Todd Douglas Roberts; a brother-in-law, Tom Roberts.</p><p><br></p><p>Mrs. Roberts is survived by: a daughter, Annsley Roberts, of West Jefferson; a sister, Kathy Speaks (Johnny), of West Jefferson; a sister-in-law, Tammy Roberts, of West Jefferson; two nieces, Lauren Ray (Chris), of Rockhill, SC and Meghann Roberts Clawson (Josh), of Laurel Springs; a nephew, Preston Roberts (Madi), of Jefferson also survive.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family, c/o Boone Family Funeral Home, PO Box 786, West Jefferson, NC 28694 or our website .</p><p><br></p><p>The family will be meeting at the home of Kathy Speaks, 883 Bald Mountain Road in West Jefferson.</p><p><br></p>
