Negative Space is a visual exploration of the often neglected void between garments and the human body. As most attention from the fashion industry and the general society is devoted to the garments above and the human body underneath, this is an experiment to visualize the various shapes and forms of negative spaces, which change with different clothing types and styles, activities and postures. These ever-changing negative spaces inform and reflect the multifaceted, multi-layered self-identity of individuals.
