This is why we created the EarthBag, the reservoir base that collects the nutrient rich runoff water, which is then recirculated back into the growing medium. The air-pruning of the roots stimulates new root tip formation due to increased oxygenation. The new root tips improve both water and nutrient absorption, thus resulting in healthy plant growth and improving harvest.
