THE SAVINELLI STORY: The Savinelli story starts in Milan, Italy in 1876 when Achille Savinelli Sr. opened one of the world’s first stores exclusively selling tobacco smoking accessories. The small shop soon became a meeting place where pipe smokers could exchange opinions and discuss experiences. It was there that Savinelli began first designing pipes, utilizing the same machines, techniques, and strategies still employed today.
