For the buttoned-up University of Pennsylvania graduation ceremony (where hubby John Legend received an honorary doctor of music degree), the swimsuit model opted for a ladylike pairing of a white short-sleeve top by Maiyet tucked into a floral flared skirt by Lela Rose. The structure and cuffed sleeves kept the look fresh and modern, but the light summery hues and demure silhouettes stayed on the very appropriate side of the event dress code. Plus, you could wear each piece separately for different outfits too. While Chrissy opted for Shailene Woodley's favorite shoes (i.e., no shoes), I'd suggest a pair of barely there sandals or pointy-toe pumps in a neutral shade.
